Software testing and test management
Software solutions are becoming increasingly complex and networked. A good code style is an important building block here. Nevertheless, errors can occur in software products. There are often many reasons for this. PROSIS GmbH follows a consistent process with its experienced and ISTQB-certified testers (test process according to ISTQB standard). This begins right at the start of software development and is used to uncover the effects of errors.
Each team member knows and works on the entire process, from the analysis of requirements to the creation and implementation of test cases, in order to have a holistic view.
The intensive tests are carried out according to defined and standardized test steps, with the effort required depending on the identified risk and the criticality of the software product.
Testing is automated where possible (backend, GUI) in order to maintain a consistent quality of testing for recurring tests.
Any bugs found are documented in a test tool (e.g. X-Ray, HP ALM) and enriched with all the necessary information to ensure that errors are rectified quickly.
The evaluation of the tests and a resulting report creates transparency for our customers and stakeholders.
